- Android 7.1 update comes with some major features and changes which has made the mobile running smoothly without any issue. To update mobile to android 7.1 you have to enroll to android beta program so that you can get ota update.
Note
that android beta program is only available to the nexus devices and not for
any other mobile.
Features are:
Navigation Drawer
Some changes has take place in
navigation drawer like setting option is interchange with user option and some
ui changes are also there as when you slide navigation bar down you can see
that instead of 4 now 5 options are coming.
App shortcuts
This is the major features which is
added to android 7.1 update as user can directly access from outside without
going inside in the app .This is somewhat like apple 3d touch but not purely
that but this is really good feature which have been introduce
Support Option
Support option has been added by the
Google in the tab form which means Google is now providing direct customer care
service instead of going to the nearby local service center. Google is taking

Moves Option
Moves option is introduce in
settings .In moves option some gestures are introduce.
Jump to Camera-with
this you can easily press power button twice and directly jump to the camera. This
will be even done when your have lock your mobile
Flip Camera-with
this you have to shake your mobile two time fast to flip primary and secondary
camera.
Lift to check phone-when
you lift your idle phone lying on anywhere mobile screen will automatically
switch on and you can easily check your phone without any issue.
Camera features
New camera features are introduce as
manual focus has been changed and shutter option is there with manually setting
of contrast on the screen. You can simply select the grid option according to
your choice and shake your mobile to navigate between primary and secondary
camera.
Nexus 6p Vulkan Api Support
Nexus 6p comes with
Vulkan API support in android nougat which improves the graphics and
gaming performance of the mobile. It also updates the open GLES version.

running smoothly with not even a single lag which means buttery. FPS of games
is so high with no heating issue.
All high-end games support Vulkan API support but
require android Nougat version to support.
Some
of the mobiles are not compatible with vulkan api due to hardware limitation. As
Snapdragon 820 support this even though
mobile will receive nougat update but they will not receive vulkan api support
